ABOUT ROADSIDE TOOL-KITS

After getting the 'Harley bug' in 2008 and buying my first Harley, I soon discovered that buying parts and trying to find tools at reasonable prices was near to impossible. I wanted to be able to do bits and pieces myself, like changing grips, mirrors, tightening things up and other stuff that doesn't require a qualified technician at a cost of 45quid an hour to do.

After some research it didn't take long to discover a serious lack of suppliers who sold tool kits that had all the right mix of screwdrivers, torx bits (especially the all important T-27) and both the metric and American imperial spanners needed to tighten or change any bits on your Harley, or get you out of a fix if your ride broke-down somewhere.

After asking people in the know - Harley bike riders and technicians – the right questions, I used their experience and knowledge to design a tool kit that covered just about every roadside repair I could think of and out of the ashes appeared, 'The Roadside Toolkit'.

 Retailing at the fantastic price of £39.99 each, The Roadside Toolkit is designed for Harleys and American V-Twin motorcycles:  be it a Softail, Fatboy, Sportster, Heritige, RoadKing, ElectraGlide or full dresser, this kit has got it all covered!.

Realising there was a void in the readily available toolkit marketplace, I decided to start my own company that would fill this gap by offering a comprehensive – and very competively priced – ready-made toolkit for the Harley and Custom Cruiser owner and rider.

Since the birth of Roadside Toolkits for Harley and Custom Cruisers in 2009, I have sold over 3,000 kits and I am very proud to say that I have not had any complaints at all and that all feedback has been exceptionally positive.

The amount of people who have called and said:

'I got one of your kits for a trip, on the way I broke down, my gear linkage worked itself loose and the adjustable came in handy'

'All I needed was WD-40, I couldn't believe it, there's even Loctite to secure the screw after Id tightened it up!'

The response has been fantastic and I’ve now added two more kits to the range, 'The Economy Tool Kit' & 'The Tear-Drop Tool Kit' retailing at a very reasonable £17.99 & £29.99 each.

My customers are mainly in the UK, Ireland and Europe, but I have sent kits to America, India and as far away as New Zealand. I will post to anywhere in the world and you'll only pay the postage cost that I pay.

This is a small, family run business/hobby that I don’t pay myself a wage for doing as we do it out of passion to provide a valuable service to our customers. Basically, it is just a Harley fund, and if we can make a few quid while we’re at it, then great!  What this means is that when I sell something, I charge what I think is a fair price for an excellent product. Quality and service also isn't hard to provide, so you’ll get that in droves here … the craic's good too, and if you want discount then all you have to do is ask!
